Information is stored in the secure electronic practice management system Splose, which uses industry-standard security measures to protect data. Some historical client records may exist in paper form from earlier periods of practice. These records are stored securely and are being progressively digitised where appropriate. Once digitised and no longer required in paper form, physical records are securely destroyed in accordance with retention requirements. Electronic records stored in Splose are hosted and managed by Splose as the service provider. Splose may process and store the information in accordance with their privacy and security obligations, but Hands on Remedies controls how the information is accessed and used for clinical and administrative purposes. Access to client records is restricted to the practitioner.

5. Retention of Records
Client health records are retained for the period required under Australian and Queensland regulations. After this period, records are securely destroyed or de-identified.

You may request access to your personal or health information or request corrections if you believe it is inaccurate or incomplete. Requests can be made in writing using the contact details below.
