1. Services Offered

Hands on Remedies provides professional remedial and relaxation massage services.

Each session is tailored to the client’s needs based on an initial consultation.
2. Draping Policy
-
Proper draping is required at all times to ensure client comfort and maintain professional standards.

Only the area being worked on will be undraped during the session.
-
Clients may wear their own comfortable attire if preferred for certain treatments.
3. Appointments & Bookings
-
All appointments must be booked in advance. Walk-ins are not accepted.

Clients are required to provide accurate personal and health information when booking.

A confirmation message will be sent upon successful booking.
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
-
Clients must provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment time may incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the service cost.

No-shows or cancellations within 4 hours of the appointment will be charged the full service fee.
-
Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings.
5. Payment Policy

Payment is required at the time of service unless prepayment has been arranged.

Accepted payment methods include cash, EFTPOS, and bank transfer.

Gift vouchers must be presented at the time of the appointment and are non-refundable.

Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
6. Refund Policy

Refunds are not provided for completed services.

Prepaid bookings may be refunded or credited if canceled within the required notice period.

Package purchases are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person with prior approval.
7. Late Arrivals

Clients arriving late may receive a shorter session to avoid inconvenience to the next client.

Full payment for the scheduled session is still required.
8. Health & Safety

Clients must disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or medications that may affect treatment.

Hands on Remedies reserves the right to refuse treatment if massage is deemed unsafe for the client.

Clients with contagious illnesses are asked to reschedule to prevent the spread of infections.
9. Professional Conduct & Boundaries

This is a professional remedial massage service; inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

Any inappropriate conduct will result in immediate termination of the session with full payment required.

The therapist reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment at their discretion.
10. Privacy & Confidentiality

Client information is strictly confidential and will not be shared without consent, except as required by law.

Records are securely stored in compliance with Australian privacy regulations.

Hands on Remedies is committed to protecting client privacy and confidentiality.

Personal and health information collected is used solely for treatment purposes and is stored securely.
11. Liability & Waiver

While all care is taken, Hands on Remedies is not responsible for any adverse reactions to treatment.

By booking a session, clients acknowledge that they have disclosed relevant health information and accept any risks associated with massage therapy.
12. Gift Vouchers & Packages

Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase and are non-refundable.

Packages must be used within the specified timeframe and are non-transferable.

If Hands on Remedies ceases operations, unused vouchers may not be redeemable. No refunds will be issued for unredeemed vouchers in the event of business closure.
13. Minors Policy

Clients under 18 must have parental or guardian consent before receiving treatment.

A parent or guardian may be required to be present during the session.
14. Aftercare Advice

Clients may receive aftercare recommendations based on their treatment.

It is the client's responsibility to follow any provided guidance for the best results.

Aftercare advice may include hydration, stretching, or avoiding strenuous activity post-massage.

Hands on Remedies is not liable for any discomfort due to failure to follow aftercare instructions.
15. Complaints & Feedback

Clients are encouraged to provide feedback regarding their experience.

Any concerns should be addressed as soon as possible to allow for resolution.

Complaints can be submitted in writing or via email, and Hands on Remedies will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
16. COVID-19 & Public Health Considerations

Clients experiencing flu-like symptoms must reschedule their appointment.

Additional health and hygiene measures may be in place to comply with government regulations.
17. Changes to Terms & Conditions

Hands on Remedies reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time.

Clients will be notified of any significant changes that may affect their bookings.
